Under the supervision of the IT Technician, the computer technician will provide technical support and problem resolution to local and remote users. Install and update computer hardware and software. Maintain computer software, hardware and networks. Provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution on site and over the phone for hardware/software problems. Clearly communicate technical solutions is a user-friendly and professional manner.
Associates degree, A+ certification or Certificate from a two year accredited computer technical program with a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in desktop, printer and copier installation and trouble shooting; Network cabling; Routers and wireless networking VPN ; Remote administration of Local Area Network LAN/WAN installation, support and maintenance. Software/Hardware installation; Network protocols in a Windows Server 2003/2008 environment.
