    Responsibilities

    Provide administrative and clerical support to the Diocesan Catholic Charities corporation and Chief Executive Officer.  Maintain and advocate for an efficient and productive operation.

     

    1. Prepare materials, coordinate meeting location/refreshments, and take minutes for all Corporate Board of Trustees and Committee meetings.

     

    1. Provide support to the various other Corporation offices (CCHD, Social Justice, Asian Apostolate, etc.).

     

    1. Prepare correspondence, reports and materials for proposals, publications and presentations.

     

    1. Create, maintain, and update databases.

     

    1. Set up and coordinate meetings and conferences.

     

    1. Monitor and process accounting transactions. Oversee petty cash.

     

    1. Provide administrative support to Catholic Charities of Onondaga County as required and directed.

     

    1. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.

     

    1. Maintain confidentiality of the Catholic Charities Corporation and all information received while performing employment activities.

    1. Maintain confidentiality of the Human Resources Department and all information received while performing employment activities.

    Qualifications

    A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, Associates Degree in Business or related field preferred. One to three (1-3) years of relevant experience in Human Resources or related field is required. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and other Microsoft Office software preferred; customer service and creative problem solving skills and negotiation skills.
