The Program Coordinator will Supervise and provide support to skill builders who work with youth 5-18 years of age with emotional/behavioral challenges. Supervision duties include: assisting with on boarding of staff; including but not limited to providing training related to the Collaborative Problem Solving model, Community Resiliency model, and skill building orientation training, coordinating and monitoring program staff schedules, providing regular supervision to assist skill builder with interventions that incorporate skill building and meet student goals to enhance delivery of services, facilitating initial intakes. Assist skill builders in the implementation of group planning and facilitation, which may include co-facilitation of groups as needed. Provide administrative support for the Program Manager and Director. Report any emergencies or significant incidents to Program Manager or Director. Maintain accountability for skill builders assigned to your supervision. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s Degree/Master's degree in psychology, human services, education, or social with three (3) years relevant experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience includes training in therapeutic crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and positive behavioral interventions. Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Basic engagement skills; Oral and written communication skills; Problem solving skills; Ability to address serious behaviors in children/adolescents. Knowledge of computer systems and computer operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands:
Mobility sufficient to drive to and participate in meetings at client’s homes and/or community facilities which may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals
