The Administrative Support Staff with enter data into the BRIA Information Network (BIN), as state data base and billing tool. Accurately record demographic information and create basic case notes. Gather information from case managers and other staff to maintain constant input and build a database of clients. Enter Data into Precision care, including demographic information and service information. Gather information from case managers and other staff to maintain constant input and build a database of clients. Collaborate with program staff to enter new clients into data bases as soon as possible after enrollment, and/or to attach them to new services. Maintain a list of clients receiving NYSESR services, matching information in BIN. Assist Citizenship Instructors with classes as needed, particularly as a tutor for individuals preparing for the citizenship exam and in the preparation of class materials. Assist with maintenance of files, including ensuring complete applications, inclusion of documents, and application tracking notes for students in Citizenship classes, N400 applicants, and I-485 applicants. Working with the Orientation Coordinator, present information for newly arrived refugees regarding living in the United States using a prepared power point. Conduct walking tours of the neighborhood to highlight resources. Work with Resettlement Staff to ensure thorough orientation. Prepare written orientation packets, compiling written topics in refugees' native languages. Assist with other administrative and paperwork tasks as the demand develops. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
This is a Temporary, Full-Time Summer position!
H.S. Diploma/G.E.D with at least one (1) year of relevant experience. Ideal candidates should have some administrative experience, ability to be flexible, patient, team-orientated and energetic. Understanding of diverse cultures strongly desired. N.Y.S. Child Abuse Registry clearance.
