The Program Assistant will coordinate and provide oversight for all program activities. Take responsibility for programming in program coordinator’s absence. Assist program participants with daily activities including homework. Provide a safe and innovative environment for program participants. Transport program participants as necessary. Maintain clean and sanitary work area. Report emergencies or incidents. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and agency policy and procedures.
This is a 10 month, Monday-Friday school year position with the hours of 3:30pm-5:30pm
HS Diploma with one (1) year relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Valid N.Y.S. Driver’s License, registered and insured vehicle N.Y.S. Child Abuse Registry clearance, OPWDD fingerprinting background clearance.
