    Responsibilities

    The Behavioral Health Specialist - PSR will provide hands-on and task oriented PSR activities to achieve identified goals or objectives as set forth in the participant’s treatment plan. Assist participants to develop and apply skills in natural settings. Foster and promote the development of needed skills identified in assessment or through the ongoing treatment of a licensed practitioner. Communicate with licensed practitioners on PSR service delivery and participate in team meetings to ensure that services continue to align with the treatment plan. Provide PSR services in a manner that is trauma informed, and culturally and linguistically competent. Provide timely and accurate documentation of contact and related records. Report incidents and issues to supervisor immediately. Ensure delivery of services as outlined by the service plan. Provide continuous monitoring that family choice and voice is present in service delivery.

     

    This is a part time position

     

    Salary: $20 per hour

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma/GED or state education credential with three years of experience in children’s mental health addiction and/or foster care or a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work or Related Human Services. Successful completion of criminal background check, and State Central Registry clearance. Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, knowledge of best practices working with children and families, and demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
