    The Parent Aide will teach, model and coach specific patterns of behavior by teaching and coaching basic living and parenting skills to parents whose children have been identified as risk for or placed in foster care. Implement as outlined in the purpose of services, home safety, increased nurturance appropriate discipline, child development household management health nutrition and supportive social network. Provide transportation on a limited basis as it relates to the purpose of service. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.


    High School diploma with one (1) year experience in providing home based services with vulnerable populations required, preferable with parents and toddlers.   Associates’/Bachelors’ Degree preferred. Home-visiting experience preferred. Demonstrates cultural and linguistic competence at all times. Valid N.Y.S. Drivers License, N.Y.S. Registered and insured vehicle. NYS Central Registry clearance.
