The Operations Supervisor will be overseeing the daily operations for all custodial workforce and exterior property grounds maintenance workers. Experience supervising multiple projects simultaneously with a diverse work force while directly supervising the activities and records of all workforce activities, planning, scheduling and follow-ups for completion. Will oversee the training and qualifications of staff including saftey training for employees, equipment use and it's scheduled prevenative maintenance. Assist in the completion of project-based tasks in a timely manner assigned by the General Manager. Possess basic computer skills and be able to utilize technology efficiently. Ensure all projects proceed and are completed in accordance with federal, state and local codes. Provide and maintain a safe environment, reporting unsafe conditions to the General Manager. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent with three (3) to five (5) years of residential and commercial remodeling and maintenance services. Experience in grounds and landscaping along with snow removal services preferred. Strong communication skills, the ability to work with diverse groups of individuals and the ability to be a team leader. Fluency in English and at least one of the following lanuages: Farsi, Dari, Arabic, Karen, Burmese, Tigrinya, Swahili a plus. Valid N.Y.S. Driver's License and N.Y.S. Child Abuse Registry clearance.
