The Navigator will provide supportive services for EAS clients to help them overcome crisis-causing barriers and pursue stability. Responsibilities include:  

  • Administer assessments and create individualized plans for participants to overcome barriers and attain stability.
  • Provide supports and developments in relation to personal and family barriers including but not limited to employment readiness, childcare, managing finances, food, clothing, housing, medical, behavioral modification and psychological factors.
  • Work with program leadership to ensure that necessary reports and documentation are completed and recorded properly.
  • Monitor client progress and provide ongoing case management.


Bachelor’s Degree in human services, communications, or related field with minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience working with vulnerable populations or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Familiarity with local community service providers preferred. Valid N.Y.S. Driver's License required as well as State Central Register clearance.
