    Responsibilities

    The Lead Navigator will provide weekly supervision for navigator(s), while maintaining a caseload as agreed upon. Assist and participate in the training and coordinating of EAS staff and volunteers. Attend community based meetings and share the knowledge gained and/or updates. Work with program leadership to ensure that necessary documentation is completed and recorded properly, including database management and program reporting. Monitor client progress and provide ongoing case management. Performs other duties as assigned by program leadership. Regularly attend staff meetings. Maintain the department’s established calendar and maintaining the notes and action items from the department meetings.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in human services, communications, or related field with minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience working with vulnerable populations or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Familiarity with local community service providers and previous supervisory expereince preferred. Valid N.Y.S. Driver's License required as well as State Central Register clearance.
