    The Early Learning Specialist will utilize the evidenced based home visiting approach and curriculum of Parent Child + Program National Center. The ELS will work with Family Child Care providers and the pre-school age children in their care. In addition, the ELS will maintain a small caseload of Core participants, delivering home based services to parents and their children of 18 months and 4 years of age. Maintain client confidentiality at all times. Provide twice-weekly face-to-face contact with clients, families and daycare providers as agreed upon by family and supervisor. Provide knowledge of parenting and child development by modeling appropriate behaviors in the home and daycare setting. Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors. Immediately report all safety and risk concerns. Meet with supervisor weekly to discuss case progress, challenges, receive guidance and support. Complete and audit all required written documentation according to program mandates. Offer linkages to community resources and other organizations. Attend and participate in trainings, team meetings and meetings related to the progress of the family served. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.



    Associates/Bachelor’s Degree preferred. At least 1 year of experience providing home based services with vulnerable families and at-risk children less than 10 years of age is required. Valid New York State driver's license is required. Registered and Insured vehicle is required.
