The Janitorial Service Technician will provide daily janitorial services for a cafe and corporate environment. Responsibilities will include; Maintaining cleanliness of cafeteria areas and rest rooms. Empting waste baskets & recycling. Cleaning windows inside and outside. Cleaning building floors using commercial floor care equipment. Café table bussing. Operation of commercial dishwashing equipment as needed. Cleaning of common areas including but not limited to hallways, common public areas, and restrooms. Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping minor carpet cleaning and hard surface floor care. Sanitizing and disinfecting all contact surfaces, glass cleaning of doors and windows. Maintainance of janitorial aspects in accordance with federal, state, and local codes. Providing and maintaining a safe environment, which includes reporting unsafe or unsanitary conditions to the site Supervisor. This position requires maintenance of a valid NYS Drivers License
Applicants must posses 1-year relevant experience in the trade applying for, a Valid N.Y.S. Driver's License, and Mobility sufficient to drive to and participate in meetings and work at customers locations throughout the community, basic computer skills, knowledge of building maintenance service as related to position description. Minor problem-solving skills, good interpersonal/social communication skills and the ability to lift 40 pounds.
Required Trainings: VIRTUS, Corporate Compliance, Defensive Driving
