The Intake Center Program Associate will assist in effective and efficient operation of the Intake Center. Responsibilities include:
Secure/provide transportation to appropriate shelter/hotel, notify security firm of new homeless family/individuals, support the quarantine placement of COVID positive individuals/families, complete notes on client activity in client database, answer client calls with various concerns, conduct initial diversion/intake screening.
Education and/or Experience Required at Entry: H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. with up to one year of relevant experience. Experience working with homeless population preferred.
Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands: Mobility sufficient to drive to and participate in meetings at client’s homes and/or community facilities which may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals. Mobility sufficient to work in an office environment. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment including machines.
Licenses/Certificate/Clearances: Valid N.Y.S. Driver’s License, N.Y.S. Central Registry clearance.
Required Trainings: VIRTUS, Corporate Compliance, Core Updates.
