The Van Driver will pick up and transport clients to and from daily appointments, and meeting places. Provide assistance to passengers in and out of the vehicle. Pick up and deliver products if needed. Assure vehicle is safe and ready for transporting. Report any service needs. Provide quality customer service to clients. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures. 


Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00-5:00


Education and/or Experience Required at Entry: H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. with 1 year relevant experience required.


Skills Required: Candidates should have good customer service skills and good Oral & Written communication skills.


Licenses/Certificate/Clearances: Valid N.Y.S. Driver's License and State Central Registry Clearance required. 


Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands: Mobility sufficient to drive to and participate in meetings at client’s homes and/or community facilities which may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals, Manual dexterity sufficient to work with children/adults in a challenging and active environment. Must be able to life 50 pounds.
