The Early Learning Specialist will utilize the national evidenced based Parent-Child Home Program curriculum designed to increase verbal development and early literacy skills. Using an intensive home visiting approach, the Early Learning Specialist will work with parents and children between the ages of 18 months and 4 years old. The Early Learning Specialist's role is to model behaviors and empower parents to promote the development of the verbal, cognitive, and social-emotional skills that are critical for children’s school readiness and long-term school success.
Associates/Bachelor’s Degree preferred. At least 1 year of experience providing home based services with vulnerable families and at-risk children less than 10 years of age is required. Valid New York State driver's license is required. Registered and Insured vehicle is required.
