The Citizenship/ESOL Teacher will plan and teach citizenship classes for adult refugee students.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Education and/or Experience Required at Entry: TESOL degree and/or TESOL certification from a state licensing agency; and/or minimum of 2 years of experience in TESOL instruction in a classroom setting for a program that has a structured curriculum.
Licenses/Certification/Clearances: Valid NYS Driver's License, State Central Register Clearance.
Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands: Mobility sufficient to drive and participate in meeting at client's homes and/or community facilities which may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals. Manual dexterity sufficient to work with children/adults in a challenging and active environment.
Required Trainings: VIRTUS, Corporate Compliance, Defensive Driving, Core Updates.
