Responsibilities

Basic Function/Purpose: Reporting to and under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Administrative Program Manager will design, develop, and implement procedures and databases to achieve program goals and objectives.

 

1. Create and coordinate record keeping procedures and policies appropriate for program participants.

2. Network within Catholic Charities and with outside service providers to make appropriate referrals to service the needs of program participants.

3. Maintain and update all records in a timely manner to meet guidelines of funding sources.

4. Supervise maintenance staff and provide appropriate guidelines.

5. Assist with the supervision of client workers (program participants’ voluntary work program).

6. Serve as Housing Services point of contact for staff time & attendance, office supplies, office equipment and maintenance requests.

7. Act as a professional role model for staff and participants.

8. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience Required at Entry: Bachelor’s Degree required with up to three (3) years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience including three (3) years relevant experience working with vulnerable populations. Administrative experience preferred, candidates with lived experienced are preferred and encouraged to apply.

 

Licenses/Certificate/Clearances: Valid N.Y.S. Drivers License, Clearance from N.Y.S. Child Abuse Registry.

Skills/Abilities: Ability to utilize electronic database system. Proficiency in MS Outlook, and MS Office. Customer service skills. Oral and written communication skills.
Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands: Mobility sufficient to drive to and participate in meetings at client’s homes and/or community facilities which may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals, Manual dexterity sufficient to work with children/adults in a challenging and active environment.

 

Required Trainings: VIRTUS, Corporate Compliance, Defensive Driving*
