Responsibilities

The Emergencey Service Program Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily operation of the Shelter and Shelter Staff. Plan & implement practices that ensure safety and success of the program objectives. 

The Emergency Services Program Manager will train, supervise, and evaluate staff and volunteers to achieve program objectives. they will serve as advocate and resource for staff and program participants. Establish short and long term program objectives whil monitoring expenses and use of program assets, including makinge budget recommendations. They will maintain and update the client record database for timely completion of program statistics and reports. Maintain a clean and safe facility nd report all hazards to appropriate authorities and or agency administration. The Program Manager will act as a liaison to all governmental agencies and interface at local, state and national level. Interpret and uphold policies and procedures of Catholic Charities, the funding source, and the program.

 

This Position is Full Time and Pay is $58,500.00 Per Year

 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience Required at Entry:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with three (3) years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience working with homeless or housing vulnerable.
  • Supervisory and Administrative experience.

Licenses/Certificate/Clearances:

  • Valid N.Y.S. Drivers License,
  • N.Y.S. Child Abuse Registry clearance.

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Creative problem solving.
  • Negotiation skills.
