The Director of Donor Engagement is a unique opportunity to foster relationships with corporate donors, foundations, individual donors, and other existing and prospective community partners. The Director of Donor Engagement will lead the execution of a donor-centric strategy, oversee all aspects of the gift cycle, and will be responsible for cultivating lifelong relationships between agency and individual donors and their families. This position will initiate/arrange opportunities for, among others, the Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer, and governance to build/strengthen relationships with community members, existing donors, and prospective donors. The Director of Donor Engagement will monitor and strengthen the health/growth of the agency’s donor file, focusing on, for example: Frequency of in-person contact with donors, Percentage of donors who are (in)active donors, Donor acquisition, Donor Retention, Diversity of donor base, Recruiting donors to give/serve in additional capacity (e.g., serve as Board member), Variation in type of donation (e.g., stocks, real estate, tangible assets, bequests, etc.), Employer matching programs. They will collaborate with direct reports, administrative personnel, and programmatic personnel. The Director of Donor engagement will seek to understand the ever-changing needs of agency staff and those served. They will be an active ambassador of the agency and supervise staff who may work on-site or remotely. They will oversee the preparation of internal and external communications, including but not limited to printed and or electronic appeals, annual reports, press release, crisis communications, capital campaigns, donor briefs and newsletters that strengthen donor's sense of connection with the agency. They will oversee accurate record-keeping related to donors, employ critical thinking skills, as well as agency fund-raising events. The Director of Donor engagement will oversee the agency's digital presence, including but not limited to website maintenance and social media. They will prepare an annual Donor Engagement Department budget and preform donor engagement related tasks for the corporation, as needed. And Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
This Position is Full Time Exempt at 35 hours a Week. The Pay for This Position Starts at $85,000.00 Per Year
