The Elderly Services Neighborhood Advisor plays a vital role in the community by establishing and maintaining connections with community members and service organizations, ensuring cultural competency. They act as a conduit to various agencies providing entitlements benefits and social services, helping older individuals remain in their homes and engage in family and community life. The advisor assists clients with accessing entitlement programs, ensuring proper document completion and follow-up. They maintain records in compliance with relevant departments' confidentiality and compliance standards. Additionally, they develop and update a comprehensive resource directory of key community contacts for referrals, conduct outreach through door-to-door visits and community presentations, and coordinate transportation services for elderly clients when necessary.
This Position is Part Time at 9am to 1 pm Monday to Firday. Pay For This Position is $17.00 Per Hour
